Here is a photo from Flickr of the Western Washington Fair, otherwise known as the Puyallup Fair. This is just a portion of the fair. It is huge!
I've had "elephant ears" here in SD and they are nothing like back home. Below is a photo of a "true" elephant ear.
Elephant ears! You're right, our SD ones are kind of puny lookin' compared to that. :)
